Bringing over 20 years of experience in sales, service, operations and marketing, this TAB franchisee is the president of a consulting firm and through The Alternative Board®, provides peer advisory and business coaching services to privately held companies. She has held senior executive leadership positions in every size company from a multi-billion-dollar global organization to a start-up operation. She has experienced the booms, the busts and the reinvention of the telecom industry, for which she uses her expertise to help businesses through tough times, reinvention and creating a highly productive staff with limited resources. She graduated with a degree in Marketing and Business Logistics, as well as from Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development. Owning a TAB franchise allowed him to relocate to a new state, establish a local consulting client base and, at the same time, provided an outlet for him to apply his extensive human resources expertise.

 

Franchisee Background: Marketing - Strategic Development

With a 20-year history of success in leading high-performance marketing teams and building lucrative, strategic relationships, this TAB franchisee is Founder and President of a consulting firm that works with executives to uncover and eliminate common barriers to profitable revenue growth. Facilitating and coaching TAB Boards® gave her the opportunity to expand local consulting opportunities within a protected territory.

 

Before becoming a TAB-Certified Facilitator, she served as a board director, senior executive and corporate consultant for several companies. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Corporate and Industry Relations at a leading data management company—where she managed global responsibilities for strategic alliances, customer relations, public relations, industry analyst relations and employee communications. She has degrees in both business and education and is a certified teacher in marketing, management, entrepreneurship and other general business courses.

In his over 35 years of experience, he has played an integral role in the successes of international airlines, hotel and car rental companies, the nation’s largest consumer products companies, financial institutions and scores of small businesses.

 

Before founding his consulting firm, he spent five years as the CEO of America’s second largest charity. A graduate in Economics and Sociology, his areas of special focus include strategy development and implementation, team-building, executive and motivational training, and all aspects of communications. He was drawn to The Alternative Board® because it gave him an opportunity to culminate his professional experiences while becoming more actively involved in his business community.

 

Franchisee Background: Military Operations

Married with small children, this TAB franchisee wanted an opportunity to control his work/life balance upon the conclusion a distinguished military career. He spent the last nine years designing, developing and facilitating hundreds of war games and seminars and was recognized for his strong team-building and facilitation skills. He has nearly 25 years of experience in both the public and private sector of the water utility industry. Specifically, he has spent the last 14 years analyzing existing organizations, then developing and implementing strategic plans designed to increase the value and effectiveness of the organization from both a stakeholder’s and customer’s perspective.
